ABOUT ME

Before I learned how to photograph a space, I learned how to choose one.

For years, working at an advertising production company, Craft, part of my job was scouting locations for global productions. I walked into houses, hotels and buildings with one question in mind: what does this place do with light? That's where I started seeing architecture from the inside. The reason behind a material, the intention behind a ceiling height, the difference between a room that looks good and a room that works.

Photography came first. I've been shooting since 2017 and making a living from it since 2019. Through Craft I've worked in global projects for Motorola and shot for Volkswagen, Honda, Nissan, Coca-Cola, and others.

When I travel, architecture is what holds my attention. In Cusco, I spent an afternoon learning how the Incas fitted stone into stone, without mortar, to survive earthquakes. Five hundred years later, they're still standing, built from what was already there. That's the architecture that moves me: built with local material, bending around the tree instead of cutting it down, blending into the landscape instead of competing with it. Architecture that answers to something. The climate, the land, the people who will live there.

Today I photograph architecture, interiors and hospitality between Rio and São Paulo, and I travel wherever the project is. I shoot for light and sequence, how a space reveals itself as you move through it, and how it changes across the day.

If you've built something you believe in, I'd like to photograph it.
